Gyratory Crusher

Brief product description The Gyratory Crusher is one of the most powerful and efficient types of primary crushers, primarily used for the initial crushing of hard, large rocks in mines and mineral processing industries. This machine is capable of reducing vast quantities of raw material to smaller sizes, paving the way for subsequent crushing and screening processes.

Structural features gyratory crusher

    • Very High Crushing Capacity: Designed to process enormous volumes of raw material in the shortest possible time.
    • Ability to Crush Coarse Materials: Ideal for large feed sizes (over 1 meter) that other crushers cannot handle.
    • Robust and Heavy-Duty Construction: Built from high-strength alloy steel for resistance against wear and impact, suitable for harsh mining conditions.
    • Unique Gyratory Mechanism: Utilizes a centrifugal rotary motion for effective material crushing.
    • Discharge Opening Adjustment System: Allows for precise adjustment of the final product size according to process requirements.
    • High Reliability and Low Maintenance Needs: Designed for long-term operation with minimal downtime.

How it works (mechanism) A Gyratory Crusher consists of a central cone (Mantle) housed within a conical bowl or frame (Concave). This central cone is supported by a vertical shaft, which is backed at the bottom by a gyratory bearing. When the machine’s motor is activated, a centrifugal rotary motion is transferred to the central cone, causing it to move in a tilted, rotary (gyratory) motion within the bowl. Incoming material enters from the top of the machine and is trapped in the space between the central cone and the frame (bowl). With each gyratory movement, the material is compressed and crushed. The crushed particles then move downwards and are discharged from the machine’s outlet opening at the pre-set size.

Build specifications gyratory crusher

    • Main frame constructed from cast or welded steel with exceptional strength.
    • Mantle and Concave made from high-wear-resistant Manganese Steel.
    • Gyratory Bearing with precise design to handle heavy loads and ensure smooth motion.
    • Adjustment Mechanism, typically located at the bottom, allowing for precise control of the output size.
    • Centralized Lubrication System to ensure proper and continuous supply to the bearings.
    • Openable design at the top and bottom for easy access to internal components.
