Brief Product Description The Screening Machine, also known as a Vibrating Screen or aggregate screen, is essential equipment in the mining, construction, and material processing industries. Its primary function is to separate materials based on particle size. These machines use vibrating or rotational motion to move materials across screen decks (mesh panels). Based on the mesh aperture size, materials are classified into different fractions (e.g., coarse, medium, fine). This process is crucial for controlling the quality of raw materials and final products.

Structural Features
- Main Body/Frame: A robust structure that supports the entire system.
- Screen Decks: Meshed panels (typically made of steel, polyurethane, or rubber) upon which materials are separated. A single machine can have one or multiple decks.
- Vibrating/Motion System: Includes shafts with eccentric weights or spring-and-actuator systems that generate the necessary vibratory motion.
- Drive System: Usually consists of an electric motor and pulleys/belts or a coupling to create motion.
- Feed and Discharge Boxes: Inlet and outlet chutes for material guidance.
- Suspension System: Includes metal or rubber springs that absorb vibrations and transfer motion upwards.
-
Mechanism of Operation Raw material is fed into the top deck of the screening machine via the feed chute. The drive system rotates the eccentric shafts, which creates vibrations with specific frequency and amplitude in the machine’s body and consequently in the screen panels. These vibrations cause the materials on the screen surface to bounce and move continuously. Finer particles that are smaller than the mesh aperture pass through to the lower deck (or as the fine final product). Coarser materials that cannot pass through the mesh remain on the screen surface and are directed to the coarse material discharge. This process repeats for all decks until the materials are separated into the desired sizes.
